3LMM — Learn About Us: Learning About a Product
You can learn about a product by buying it and using it. I do that for most of the products I recommend for your business.
You can also learn from reviews — they reveal what the market thinks. Negative experiences are valuable: they show how to
improve the product and where the demand already exists.

Fixing known issues puts you in a stronger position before you invest time in a re-make. Make sure the original had demand
even with flaws; then your improved version will be easier to sell.
3LMM — Making the Product
Once you know the defects, take the core that works and enhance it. Use real feedback, fix the broken bits, and you’ll end
up with a whole, desirable product.
3LMM — Market the Product
Start by changing the name. Don’t launch your improved product under the old name, or it will get buried by old search results
and old reviews. Choose a name that reflects what it is and who it serves.
For example, Boomer Business Online targets boomers who want an
online business — or want to run a “cool” business online. Pick the angle you believe in and let that guide your marketing.
Find where your market hangs out and focus there. Not sure where? Ask
Google or
Bing — they’ll show you.
